Whirlpool State Park in Niagara Falls

 

Whirlpool State Park has shelters for picnics, and a trail for walking, running, or biking. Hikers can travel along the Niagara Gorge Rim Trail or venture down the steep stairs into the Niagara Gorge for the Whirlpool Rapids Trail.  The latter is more challenging and more dangerous, but brings you alongside the Niagara River. Restrooms are available. Open Spring to Fall.
