Cave of the Winds

Get face-to-face with the pounding waters of Niagara Falls and get soaked on the Hurricane Deck where you are just feet from the thundering waters!

Prospect Point Observation Tower

Prospect Point Observation Tower stretches out over the Niagara Gorge and provides visitors with a breathtaking view of both the American and Canadian Falls  The Tower allows you to look directly out into the cascading waters of Niagara Falls and down into the raging torrents below. Four elevators provide access to the base of the gorge and the boarding site of the Maid of the Mist boat ride.

Niagara Falls Scenic Trolley

Take a half-hour trolley ride through the park with a knowledgeable guide.  Learn about the history of the oldest state park in the country, while experiencing the beauty of the area.  The trolley stops at six locations where you can get off and explore the Niagara Falls attractions.

Each vintage-style trolley is equipped with modern conveniences and tickets are available at various locations throughout the park, so you can zip from one Niagara Falls attraction to the next. These state-of-the-art trolleys run on environmentally friendly natural gas and figure prominently in Niagara Falls State Park’s “Green Park Project,” a program that received the 2006 Clean Air Excellence Award.

Discovery Center

The Niagara Gorge Discovery Center showcases the natural and local history of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area,  and is a hands-on learning experience for all ages. In this amazing Niagara Falls tour, you can enjoy interactive displays, take a virtual elevator trip into the gorge, experience 12,000 years of the Niagara River in the 180° multi-screen theater, or climb a 26-foot rock wall that resembles the walls of the gorge, complete with fossils and geological formations.  The Discovery Center is also home to the Niagara Gorge Trailhead Center, the gateway to some of the best hiking and biking trails in the region

Maid of the Mist

Take a boat ride into the raging waters below Niagara Falls.  Experience the waterfalls like you've never seen them before!  This is possibly the most popular attraction at the Park, and for good reason.  You will be provided with ponchos, but due to the mist from the falls crashing onto the rocks below, you'll likely still get wet. The Maid of the Mist is accessible from the bottom of the Observation Tower.

Aquarium of Niagara

Located at the northeastern corner of the park, the Niagara Falls Aquarium has a wide range of fresh and saltwater fish plus many regularly scheduled activities including:  Penguin Feedings, Outdoor Seal Feedings, Sea Lion Training Sessions, and Shark or Tisal Pool Feeings.  The Aquarium was founded by a group of chemists and scientists in 1965, as a way to introuduce synthetic seawater to aquaria for the first time.  They were so successful, that it became a model for inland aquaria everywhere.
